Greetings! I’m Justin Chandler, or known colloquially as Chan. You may be wondering about my background as a copywriter and why I’m eager to help your business. Let me fill you in!
Graduating from Appalachian State University in 2016 with a B.S. in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in English Language Arts and Science, I worked in the public school system as a middle school ELA instructor, having won the Beginning Teacher of the Year Award for Alexander County Schools in 2018. As an educator, I aimed to show the next generation of scholars the importance of the written word in any endeavor of their choice.
In 2018, I created my freelance identity Chan’s Copywriting Company as a way to reach out to businesses (like yours) who want to have results-driven, engaging writing. This has allowed me to work with local DJs, e-commerce businesses, Amazon fulfillment companies, and medical practices. In 2021, I left teaching to focus on writing full-time as a freelancer and in-house, and in 2022 I rebranded under my full name.
Outside of work, I have been an author for my alma mater (under both ASU’s chapter of The Odyssey and as an opinion writer for The Appalachian Online) and sporadically under my own personal blog. Two of my fictional works have been published: the short story Davey’s Day in ASU’s literary review The Peel, and the Young Adult Sci-Fi novel The Guide.
Now that you know a little more about me, I would be thrilled to collaborate with you on any of your business/social media needs. Feel free to reach me in the Contact section for a free consultation, and happy writing!
